The next-gen consoles had a brand new engine, and as such lacked features. Makes sense to me.

Madden fans could also use the PS2/Xbox1 versions if needed.

Red Steel is also an incredible game.

I own no consoles, may or may not buy a nintendo wii, and if I choose to consider buying one, will do so only after I've played with one myself a bit and get a feel for it.

More than one poster in here has posted concerns about the Wii, and if you hadn't posted about the strap I'm sure someone else would have (if someone didn't, I don't honestly recall that part of the thread atm). However, you're the only one who spams this treads with nintendo trolls ... the fact that you don't realize you're just as bad as the fanbois, who amidst their inane ravings have some pieces of good information as well.

And Far Cry is crap no matter what platform you play it on

Renting Trauma Center.

REally a fun game. EAasy to figure it out, but difficult to have perfect operations. Very forgiving early on.

Can speed up the cut scenes, which is very helpful.

controls for the most part work very well, the only significant issue that I've had was with part of the bomb stage, I couldn't get the pins out very reliably. very frustrating.

graphics are decent enough fo rthis type of game.


This is a fun game, but I would recommend it only as a rental due to the length, anyone can beat it in a weekend or 5 days. I'm about 1/3 through after one night.

The Weather Channel, Forecast Channel and the Web Channel have launched, or will launch soon.

I haven't updated mine yet, and I don't own any games that seem to utilize it anyway, but I was reading that one game in particular, Madden, will have in-game weather reflecting whatever weather your area is receiving (as shown by the Weather Channel).

I would presume when its late November, and youre playing the football game, and you have to make judgement calls that in part depend on the immediate weather forecast (if the ground conditions get awful, and the running game is gone, can i still play ball control football in the last quarter) and you actually have to judge the immediate conditions by comparing TWC forecast with what the air feels like outside. Sounds kinda cool.
