Anyway, I played with my friend's Wii last night, but now it hurts when I Wii. I kick ass in tennis but suck it in baseball. It's also hilarious how much you start waving around like a lunatic mimicking the real activity even when it's completely unnecessary. I nearly crashed into furniture a few times.

Easy. The 360 wins hands down.

The Wii is very expensive for what you get. Its about 50$ cheaper than the 360 core. It should be a lot cheaper, IMO. I'm not even sure that thing has more horsepower than the original Xbox.

Probably, but that's beside the point. The 360 Core is a much better value, IMO, than the Wii.

I would probably agree with you if it had wifi built in. Instead that's what, another $100? Or a very very long ethernet cable or carrying the console to my office for updates?

The main problem with a console(and has always been the case - remember the Dreamcast?) is that it's hardware power ultimately means nothing if it gets a bad press and the public dont bye it(PS3 maybe?).
Secondly a console is only as good as the games you can buy to play on it - for a long time 360 owners have been pretty short changed, but things have begun to look better recently.

So unless you get a great launch(which the Wii has) AND follow up with some must have titles then it really doesnt matter what componants sit underneath the plastic cover.
