I STILL don't have one. Was 2 behind the last person at Target to get one, and Best Buy didn't have any. Why, I don't know.
God dammit, Zelda is just sitting there MOCKING me. "You want to play me, don't you?"
I had to go into work at 6AM, so my brother went for me. He said there was a line of around 30 people when he got there (idiot didn't get there until right when the store opened ) and the store only had around 10-15.

Well, in a few hours, I'll either have a Nintendo Wii, or have committed suicide.
Which is more preferred, I'll leave for you to decide.
After reading your last post, I'm a bit worried for you...

Why not? In actuality it's only a 10% coupon, it just combines with my employee discount to add up to 20%. Just a small "Christmas gift" from Wal-Mart.
So you work for Wal-Mart? Any information you can give us on how the 12/6 sale will work, specifically? My local store wasn't very helpful - no idea if they want us to form a line, or do a raffle, etc.
"It's a broken, buggy game, and if the statement about learning curves were true, it would still take far too long to gain wings before the average gamer would grow disenchanted. The game feels completely rushed to retail in time for the launch."
Is also from the article - thats pretty poor for a new console launch imho. Ok its par for the course in PC dev these days(more often than not), but this thing on a console definately won't help that console build a reputation.
Still it is tricky getting some great launch titles ready(look at the 360 when it came out!), and a console is only as good as the games you can play on it, so i can see the pressure to 'get it out' being even more acute. Still it's bad practise, and from the sounds of this game it's going to be responsible for Red Steel being remembered along the lines of Daikatana.....if at all
The comparison to the 360 isn't really valid. For one, the 360 launch titles reviewed significantly better on average.
For two, the 360 developers had only 3-4 months of real Xbox 360 hardware to work with. Before that they were using Macs. In contrast, the Wii's basic hardware has been in developer hands for about 6 years, including 1.5 years with the new controller. There's really no valid excuse.
"The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

I would just assume that if they didn't do a raffle for launch that there will be a line and plan accordingly. Since they won't hold one for me (I asked), I assume I have to get there beforehand to get it given the level of popularity in my area. I'm going to try getting there at 5.
