Then again, I can't imagine dumping it at all with the games scheduled to be released in the next 6 months.
The ones that were quoted earlier in this thread?
They're not appealing to a lot of people, if not most...

Well, some are more appealing to people than others of course. Do you really think that SM: Galaxy, Pokemon, SSBB are going to be outsold by anything on your list besides Halo3?
The vast majority of people I know with Wiis have lost a lot of interest in them. Novelty factor and all that..."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

My list:
May - Forza 2
June - Bioshock
July - Mass Effect / Too Human
Aug - Blue Dragon
Sep - Halo 3
Oct - GTA 4
Nov/Dec - Assasin's Creed / Banjo / PGR4 / Lost Odyssey
His list:
April: Super Paper Mario
May: Mario Party 8
June: Pokemon Battle Revolution
Dragon Quest Swords [No release date announced]
Super Mario Galaxy [No release date announced]
Big Brain Academy
Metroid Prime 3Last edited by Asher; April 9, 2007, 08:11."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Some other interesting games slated for release:
Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition
Manhunt 2
NiGHTS
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games
Boogie
Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn
Mario Strikers Charged
Disaster: Day of Crisis
Project H.A.M.M.E.R.

I can guarantee you if we get into an "interesting games slated for release" battle, the 360 will outnumber the Wii there too...
As for some of those games like Manhunt 2 and Mario Strikers...those are just desperation games you've listed."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

When you said people, I assumed you were referring to people worldwide, and not inhabitants of one continent or the other. This isn't 1960, after all, its a global marketplace."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

Hmm, I'm not convinced by that list at all. But then we have to be fair and acknowledge that the X-Box 360 had very few top tier games on the horizon until some 18 months after release."The issue is there are still many people out there that use religion as a crutch for bigotry and hate. Like Ben."

A "top-tier" game to you might not be the same thing to me. (remember, I even like golf)
I honestly think these game systems are far enough apart that comparing them is futile. (That, along with the fact that comparing them is actually futile. It won't accomplish anything.) They are different systems aimed at different audiences why would they not host different games?
I mean look at the two top games Halo2 and Guitar Hero 2. Can you make two more different games? But they both sold phenominally well. To different markets, but phenominally well.

Well several Paper Mario reviews are out now, and they are favourable but not glowing.
I'm interested in hearing how people are getting on controlling games like Mario and Zelda with the wii remote. I don't want to set up an Asher troll but reading through some of the reviewers' comments about using it for these games just makes me cringe. I didn't actually realise that the classic controller and gamecube controller weren't supported for most games as well, if I am reading it right.
So more feedback from wii owners please.

Zelda is fine. To swing the sword you perform a gesture (you wiggle the remote; it's not very picky about the exact motion), and everything else is handled with the buttons. I'd prefer a button for swinging the sword, but the way it is now isn't really a problem. However, the fact that you now aim the bow, hookshot, etc. with the remote is a huge improvement.
