I spent most of the night debating whether I should not dignify this with a response or should I defend myself. In deference to the potential harm this could do, both to the board and my relationship with Asher, I choose to defend myself.

I am being completely serious when I say: you are the one that is out of line. By suggesting that I meant anything by that remark other than that Asher should know different things tweak different people.

I am not laughing at him. I am not making fun of him or his lifestyle. I never have and I never will.

I have a very strong sense of humor and I have seen conversations between others and Asher that suggest he has the same strong sense of humor and a very well-defined sense of self. He does not apprear to me to be one that is easily offended when poked fun at.

If I have offended him I am deeply sorry for that... but I don't think that's the case. He actually handled that much better than you did (as evidenced by the liberal use of smilies in his posts and the lack of calling me names).

MOREOVER, how can you deny that you a not a gamer nerd, paddiha man? you are on a game site, with a drone avatar, and boast :

I have a PC downstairs. AMD X2 64 4600+ with 2Gig and an nVidia 8800 GTS 320. I play FEAR on it and it runs like a raped ape. My family doesn't bother with FEAR because it's too demanding and there's no depth to the story (face it, it's a "shoot everything that moves" game).

Dude, if you think a 4600+ is "hard-core gamer" you are not a hard-core gamer either.

I personally know people that make maney playing games. To them if you have a console you are not a hard-core gamer cause you can't upgrade. When you have a $20,000 systems and want more... that's hard-core gamer. (no, that's not a typo, I have talked to guys that were saving up for a twenty thousand dollar PC system. It was ridiculous).

There are guys that play for 10, 12, and 15 hrs. a day - that's hard-core. There are people that have paid $5,000 and $7,000 for a PS3 - that's hard-core.

Believe me when I say - I am NOT a hard-core gamer.
