I have asked the good doctor to sedate me for awhile so that I can get some rest after this terrible tragedy. I cannot believe that the killer would seek to hurt my lovely sister who has never hurt anyone in her entire life. I cannot bear to be without her and hopefully the medications will allow my pain to dull, so I can simply forget the horror of the past few days.

I have asked the Chief of police to keep an eye out for me, and hopefully he will be able to spot the killer.

I must say that while I am appalled by the methods of the killer, I have been unable to work out how these blighters have managed to escape my grasp for so long.

The villagers finally made their vote and I was quite satisfied when they disposed of Tim Sutherland, the harbour policeman. He has been obstructing this investigation from the very start. Hopefully now we have managed to eliminate one killer.

Anyways, two incidents have cropped up that have made me very suspicious. The first involving Maurice and Bud. I had the fortune of overhearing both of them. Unusually, Bud was taking every word in that Maurice had to say rather then simply ignoring his boasts. The bit that I managed to hear was quite startling.

Maurice has always hated the filthy rich folks here in the yacht club and had hoped to steal from them enough money to make his services much more compensated. To him they did not deserve their money, and so it was justified to steal from them whenever possible. They were scum and not worth the least consideration, especially considering how they treated their servants.

Bud would easily be of the proper build and size necessary to life the fishing weight to crush the skull of the killer. I do not know if he has been influenced by Maurice sufficiently to express his pent up hate by killing the members of the yachting club.

Finally the second incident that caused quite a stir involved the dock attendent. A rather quiet young man, he was caught out on the deck making out with one of our fine ladies from the yachting club. I do not know as of yet precisely who was the lady involved, as the only other witness to the affair was the cameraman. Apparently he was setting up his equipment to take some still shots of the sunset, and left his camera while he went inside. The couple did not notice the camera sitting their inausipiciously, and nor did they expect the camera to continue running.

Once the shots were taken, he had chosen to cleverly take ahold of the picture, and promptly announced to the remainder of the club that he will reveal the photo to the highest bidder. Not only does he have the ability to blackmail the lady in question, she must bid discreetly enough to appear to simply be interested in the photograph.

I had to step in and protect the cameraman from further harm once he announced the photos with the lady and the attendent, and hopefully the club has settled down.

I still have to wonder at the motivations. There is a killer out there and the lady still finds time to make out with someone other then her husband? Absolutely inconcievable!

Once I had secured the poor attendent and the cameraman from the rest of the yachting club, the wild bidding began. Everyone wanted to see what was in those pictures, who was the one responsible, except for the lady in question who wanted to bid on the photos to keep them for herself and perhaps save her marriage.

Some eyes turned to Becky Horgan as the first suspect as she was both young and pretty, and well known for her excellent bedside manners. Perhaps too excellent in this case.

And then there is Annette Hawkins. Annette is the very wealthy lady who has a rather dull and boring husband who pays most of her bills. I could easily see her cheating, but as one thing I have learned in this business, it is never the one you suspect who is mostly responsible.

As the bidding took off, the highest bid for a long time seemed to rest with Mona England. As an older lady who had just lost her husband it is curious what her motivations might be to take up the bid. Could she be protecting one of her close friends.

Finally the bid was just about to end when one shout could be heard from the back. Jeff Hawkins had chosen to outbid Mona for the rights to the pictures of the affair. At that moment, I released the cameraman from his secured room and allowed him to hand over the picture. I watched very carefully to ensure that nothing amiss occurred and that the cameraman would be protected from reprisal. Jeff Hawkins chose not to open the pictures, preferring to look at them on his own time.

When I returned to the attendent, I realised that I had left the door open. I had not expected to see what I saw inside, another bludgeoned body.

Matt Laney has now died to add to our already lengthy tally.

Yes Tim Sutherland was mafia. Some GM's leave it until the next round when it is obvious by the story that there is only one killer left.

The way I tend to do it is have the narrator show very little compassion during the death of the mafia compared with an innocent villager.

I think it makes for a better game to leave the explanations til the end of the game. Now the villagers have a better idea of what clues are for real and what may be red herrings.
