Turn 2: "A Tale of Three Battles."

Kit Chuss (Joncha) continued on the trail of asshattery as he found a new unsuspecting target in the likes of Captain Imperium (Hercules). Both contestants had perfectly matched Orders of Battle, but what the winner had was more ships.

Kit Chuss captures 2 bases, Captain Imperium is eliminated.

The second battle involved the lovable duo, General Odin (Kassi) and his sidekick Zol Ventis (Skanky) looking for a target of opportunity. They found one in Senator Danq (General Tacticus). Again lasers ruled the day (I was going to link to my reference material, but I'm work blocked from the site....I'll edit this when I get home...maybe).

The attack did not go entirely as planned. Ventis first tried to build thirteen laser cruisers when he only had enough build points for five. Then he tried to send more ships to battle than he actually had, which totally confused his ship's captains. finally a lowly deck mate spoke up and told the captains that it was obvious that Zol wanted to keep this many ships at home and send the rest. Zol now has a new admiral in his fleet.

Kassioburns (Skankiopea) capture three bases, but I'm not sure how they wan them split, but since Odin actually turned in valid orders, he gets the extra base.

Senator Danq is eliminated.

The precedent is whoever sent their orders in first gets the extra base.

The redistribution line probably shouldn't be there. I don't think it's been allowed for many a game now.

The third battle was an unusual pairing of the nobi twins (Jaguar and Ben Kenobi) and Ciann Pollis (Flubber). All three of these little deviants teamed up to take out poor Danz (Whoha).

Danz had other ideas, however, and planned a sneak attack on General Odin's bases. Danz's plan was sabotaged by one of Ciann's spys. Hence this ain't going to be pretty.

Danz, loses all of his bases, but he makes the twins and Ciann pay for them dearly.

Ken Benobi loses 6 torpedo battleships
Basileus Naviwinat loses 5 torpedo battleships
Ciann Polis 1 torpedo frigate and 3 torpedo battleships.

Each gains one base as Danz is eliminated.

Damnit, when I saw that General Odin attacked, I thought myself to be triumphant, with new bases and no attack on the home front.

Least we finally win, but dunno if that base was worth it.

Turn 3: Summary

Joncha is correct about the extra base, it was awarded to skanky for getting his order in first. I will strike the redistribution clause for the rules.

Orders are due on monday, I won't even have a chance to process them early so take your time.
