I play this the same way I play smax or civ-- even if you kill me the damage hurts a lot

I did the math (wrong apparently since I thought you would have been hurt more than spaced said) and there was no way for me to defeat a duo using lasers with close in and spread out so I went for maximum hurt.

Can anyone help me on the calculations-- My pre-turn ones had assumed they would build all lasers but their torpedo builds mean my lasers damaged them more than I thought.

      • Hmm, I'm not at home so I don't have access to my SPREADSHEET OF DOOM, but at first glance 324 points of damage should kill 324/3 or 108 bps worth of shipping; either 54 cruisers, or 36 battleships. I would indeed expect rather more than 36 cruisers to die here.

          • You are absolutely right my young Flubber. It is not uncommon for our venerable Spaced to make an error or two when processing turns.

            • Like many times before, foolish attacks by Skanky and Kassi have only assured another joncha's victory.

              • You already took over half of our fleet, now you want the rest too?

                    • joncha is the puppetmaster! He just sends orders via PM for everyone else to follow. He arranged Skanky and Kassi's dramatic pyrrhic victory. Only Ljube sees the situation for how it truly is.

Ironically 54 cruisers is EXACTLY the fleet they had prior to their builds on this turn. Wouldn't it have been funny if a battle could ever exactly destroy both fleets completely

But after review I have it at 55 cruisers, 1 frigate and 3 irrelevant points of damage on a battleship.

                              Yup

I actually think your entire fleet built prior to this turn dies except for one cruiser PLUS one new frigate dies

                              • So I guess in your plans from the chart you all can erase kassi's 6 laser cruisers, skanky's single torpedo frigate and then 11 more torpedo frigates-- 6 and 5 depending on whose orders went in first
