Turn 1: "Somebody is going Down."
There is no way Kit Chuss can lose. He has the biggest fleet in the galaxy and penance for asshatery. Following the proven method of taking others bases instead of building them himslef, he launches an all out attack against Ljube. He even sends in a spy to make sure that asshatery is the tune of the day.
Meanwhile in another corner of the galaxy, Ben Kenobi (impersonating as Basileus Naviwinat) and his twin Ken Banobi, aka teh nobi twins, are bringing the pain in an attack on Danz. Ben sends a spy at Danz, while Ken sends a spy at Captain Imperium (apparently paranoia runs in the nobi family).
Here is the dilema. Only one of these attacks succeeded. The other met with a nasty shield, the question is......which one. We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

well spaced cowboy's "light" is still on so he may be working up some fancy graphics
I tend to think that whoha's shield was up --You don't get to 300 losses without being a pretty exceptional goaltender.-- Ben Kenobi speaking of Roberto Luongo

Turn 1: (Continued)
Okay enough of the suspense. Remember I'm graphically impared and really not much to do for graphics on this turn.
Kit Chuss(Joncha)'s attack was met by....absolutely nothing as Ljube did not build any ships, but he did build 2 fresh shiney bases to add to Kit's booty. Argh, the space pirate strikes again.
The nobi twins, on the other hand, were not so lucky as they met with the "Shield of Yamski". Chart will be up in a few.
Next round of orders are Due by Friday Noon CST.
(EDIT): Ben loses 2 fighter battleships while bother Ken loses one fighter battleship. Also Captain Imperium was not able to build a shield.Last edited by Spaced Cowboy; July 19, 2006, 17:29.We're sorry, the voices in my head are not available at this time. Please try back again soon.

Sounds great-- Just to clarify, my "is that it?" question was not a criticism of the report but instead ws a true question. I looked through a few old threads and frankly expected there to be people tripping over each other attacking. I was surprised to see only 2 attacks.Originally posted by Spaced Cowboy
Here be the chart, and I'll try to do some pictures as things get a little more exciting, that is....more than ships versus nothing.

Typically the opening few rounds can be fairly quiet, though it of course depends on a lot of things. Presumably a lot of people have learned that when you 1-base, presumably you're going to attack someoneOriginally posted by Flubber

The number of opening round attacks is directly proportional to the number of Australian participants.
