      • Mission acomplished, although I lost a solitary battleship in the fight. Such things happen.

The attacker has lost a total of 60000 Units.
The defender has lost a total of 1144000 Units.
At these space coordinates now float 89400 Metal and 43800 Crystal.
The chance for a moon to arise from the debris is 1 %

Get some recyclers here!!! to prevent this guy from grabbing the resources back. Mine are on their way, but will take 7 hours.

        • I found a JO colony at 1:244:8, but my search seems to be playing up a hell of a lot, so I haven't been able to find the home planet yet.

Skanky, I've got a scan of that guy too. I was very tempted, but SpeedSim didn't fancy my 8 BBs against his defences.
I've got 14 now though! Probably still get beaten mind.
germanos, remind me where and when you need that scan doing, because I'm afraid that I deleted your original message along with a load of scans of planets not worth attacking.

          • My recyclers are both out at the moment. Sorry.

4 recyclers will arrive in 3 hours.

Duke, with the latest info provided by Skanky, I will be fine for a while. I'll contact you if I need a scan.

Build some more, certainly now that you have a good fleet. Crashing an orbiting fleet can greatly increase the revenue from a raid if your recyclers arrive on time.

I have 25 of them scattered around. Great for overnight fleetsaves as well.

edit: it looks like the guy fleetsaved quite some stuff of his planet (or he filled up his build queue? I don't get it: he lost quite a few ships it seems?)

                edit2: he got BB-tech now.
                It won't save him

                edit3: he turned n00bist again

                • You have a new recruit?

Anything I'd need to know before I get my brain into it?

                  • Get into Universe 8, then use the in-game search function (on the left-hand toolbar) to search for player Hueij. Send him a message asking to join the alliance, and he'll let you in as soon as he next gets on-line. (Though he is at the moment ).

With your starting resources, build a solar plant and some mines, then another solar plant, etc. If you post the co-ords of your planet in this thread, then we can send you some resources to get you off to a better start.

                        • I'm afraid I can only spare 5k of metal and crystal at the moment, because all my ships from my major planet are out, but it'll arrive in 3h 10 mins.
Build solar plants and mines for the time being, and everything else is really easy to pick up. While you're waiting for the delivery, you could do worse than read these threads for hints.

Oh, and joncha can't let people into the alliance. Those who can are Hueij (founder, and big daddy), Skanky Burns, Germanus and Spaced Cowboy. Spaced isn't on-line, but the others all are.
Send one of them a message to be allowed in.

I think the correct procedure is to look for the Apolyton alliance through the 'alliance' button (also on the left) and then press 'apply' (or the equivalent). A message will appear to all Deities and Hueij himself.

                                Thanks!

Is there anyway to trade research and other replicable stuff?
I wouldn't like to overresearch what you guys long have done.
