Hmm this game is getting popular, I wonder if there is a way to fudge in a map extension by altering config.bmp? Will look into this tonight.

For the next map I'll make sure there are at least 16 medium or large tiles.

To get the map to grow, replace your old config.bmp with this one attached. Map will grow automatically.

I have to warn, though, that I only played Simcity 4 a couple of times after I got it...I haven't played it extensively since SC2K.

I play it pretty regularly, though this is my first try at multiplayer.

For some reason whenever I create a new region it does not save. Will reinstall I guess.

Quick question, that link on page 2 of this thread with the all inclusive plugin download, is that still all we need to play?

Sounds good, lots are first called, first claimed.

The thread on Page 2 has the plugin download.

For region creation: first create the region using the files on page 1, then use files on this page to expand it to the present size.

Also - either Kass, Jonny, or EPW ought to do something with that small square between their plots - it looks awkward in its present undeveloped state.

The Big Ocean and other mostly ocean lots are intended for some serious land reclamation, by the way.

Just to make sure i don't screw this up, the way to do it is:

1. UnRAR the files to the Kitakyushu\ directory, overwriting as necessary.
2. Download config.bmp and also put that in the Kita directory, overwriting the file there.
3. Open up SC4 and keep playing!
