Out of curiosity, why is it when I try and create a region for this game, A folder for the region is not greated in the "region" folder in the game files?

Ok...well, Boothbay has made it to 2005, at least:

Boothbay has become a sleepy little slum that's quickly spreading across the face of the peninsula. Though the children of Boothbay are well educated, their parents are mostly morons who can't figure out how to do much more than make concrete. The sunsets from the top of Asthma Hill are spectacular, though.



This is not to say that attempts to move away from basic industry have not been tried...they have just met with mixed success. At one point, a big name developer was brought in to build a casino which was to be the heart of Boothbay's tourist trade; alas, even after completion of the structure, the city council refused to legalize gambling, and the building has had to be converted into a 20 story Target in order to make its monthly payments to the city:



As you can see though, a new attempt at creating a commercial center for the city is underway, and everybody holds great hope for the Protoplaza.

The mayor has not allowed his constituants to suffer alone, however. He has moved into one of the darkest, dirtiest parts of the city, transferring his posh estate to the coastal slums, so that all the poor and hopeless may look upon its green, manicured grounds and see a brighter future from outside the double-locked gates. He is truly a man of the people.

Smiley: You don't have Atragon's Oceana listed at all, and I believe Tartarus is EPW's.

I would also like to leave space for an eventual highway connection from Takeshi Bay through me to you, you cool with that?

I could use a monorail by now, btw, Smiley - I have craploads of $$$, the roads aren't cutting it and everyone is too posh for buses. I've also neglected highway development somewhat since I can't figure out the kinks in building them, so I just have avenues and lots of road. I'll lay some down in 2020-25, you can make the connection.

Would you prefer that to the north or the south of the border?

In the south, on the landmass that ends with the edge of the map in south (as opposed to the landmass adjacent to Floreat and Tartarus). I have my HT park there. I'll pull it through my city and probably have it end up in Tartarus after it makes a U turn in my central area.

This is how I imagine it - the orange line is a possible addition that will connect South Floreat to the network. If it's more convenient for you, you can always place it north of the inlet/strait too, it'll have to cover as much ground anyway.

It's all farms on my side right now, so why don't you make the connection now and set its exact location.

A monorail connection to South Floreat bYnw, as if the network were connected between South Floreat and Elmwood, the entire region's monorail network would finally be connected. But I would like to set the spot; I'm thinking 2 tiles to the east of the current avenue connection.
