I think I used Willhelm to teleport, but I had to go because I was too bogged down with treasure.

Archers need something to fight elementals and other weapon resistant baddies. I couldn't even scratch Lethiathan. Non-arcane archers are screwed. Perhaps some arrows with enhancement bonuses. I use Darkstorm as a Rogue and the best I get is minimal electrical damage. I also use a bow that can fire arrows bought, but there are no good arrows to buy. Or even better, a bow like Darkstorm that uses enhanced arrows.

Well when we are both at the same level I'd be happy to test that out.

The clockwork arrows are good, from Crank's Island Morth ones are also the bee's knees.

As for "hard to come by" - just hang around the big room on the bottom floor of the crypt - they respawn pretty quickly. Or go raid the cultists in Dwar Proper.

I'm afraid that a monster made mostly out of water, or fire, or earth, or air and vapour is always going to be pretty hard to kill by firing arrows at it though. That's life.

Hint #1 : After you have slain a thousand enemies proceed with the citadel to your left and the concealed valley to your right untill you reach Norwald Forest, where an entrance can be found.

Hint #2 : Take a boat, from the usual "underground boat station"

Well, if I could pull them out of my body after hanging around crank's awhile, I'd have plenty.

All problems should be able to be solved by firing arrows at it.

Its not really possible to make proper journals in a PW as the journal is reset each time the module reloads You can do some by making the module "look" in people's packs for certain trigger items and pasting the entries in after a reload - but its rather clumsy. You'd end up with a pack full of "memo objects" too.

Don't give me ideas... hehehe... that would be a good script that gave arrows a % chance of falling to the floor by the target. It would be one hell of a complicated one, but... ok, a "rainy day" script

Question : Is mining and smelting working ok for everyone? The script makes a bunch of checks, so I'm always worried it will go wrong somewhere.
