Sad news...
This is certainly an end of era for Apolyton.
I've spent 9 years with this community and I've seen many fellow players go, something that had cost me in the past. Now I see those that I considered the heart of Apolyton go too. I wasn't a regular OFT poster so I didn't really have the chance to know Ming and rah better, but certainly they made their impact to the community all those years. I did had the chance however to work with Dan, Wouter and Dan (Solver) in the past and I really appreciated their efforts and character.
I don't now what to say, I wish you guys the best from my heart. Apolyton will never be the same without you, at list for me personally.
Good luck to the new administration

Faretheewell, Dan. You have been a very good admin, and the legacy of both the Ultimate Civ2 Site and Apolyton is considerable. I have always appreciated the professionalism and respect you've shown me and all of us here on Apolyton.Blog | Civ2 Scenario League | leo.petr at gmail.com

Thank you for the most kind and thoughtful reflection, Keygen. St. Leo, thank you for the kind and positive assessment.
I'm pleased that I can still contribute to the Civ community through PolyCast, and that is has been and continues to be by and large well received.PolyCast Co-Host, Owner and Producer: entertaining | informing civ

Thanks, Dan & Co. I rarely post here but I have been a fan of the site since I first became a fan of Civ 2 upon its release. I feel like I am losing some old friends. Then again I don't care very much for the direction the game itself has taken since Civ 4. Everything seems to be moving from fall into winter.
