    • I wanted that to be a touchdown, but I'm honestly not sure it was. Yeah, his leg hit the pylon, but the ball was behind him and possibly out of bounds at the time. I don't know what the rules say about that, but you can make a good case for why that shouldn't be a touchdown as far as I'm concerned.

Also, you gotta ****ing punch it in from a half yard out. I don't blame Jackson or the refs for us not getting a TD there. I blame the team for failing to punch it in.

        THIS.

Yes, what actually happened was something that I would expect from DA BEARS.

        • Yea, I don't understand people (even Buck & Aikman on the call) "blaming" DeSean Jackson for not scoring. He was not "coasting" towards the endzone. Nor could he stretch the ball out with a defender touching him.

Indeed, they didn't punch it in and it also didn't help that they had a delay-of-game penalty.

          • And they'd still be ripping him if he stretched it out and the defender knocked it loose.

            • As expected, Bears promote QB coach to OC. Hopefully, he can continue keeping Cutler from making too many mistakes.

                      • Ho-hum, rich guy problems. In which market will I print my money?

The vote was 30-2 for the St. Louis move, so it seems the SD-Oakland bid never had a chance. Now Spanos has a year to decide whether he wants to share LA with the Rams and negotiate a deal. Meanwhile, San Diego is already in full c0cksucking mode, suddenly open to wasting tax dollars on a new stadium to try and keep the team.

When your consolation prize for not getting your way is an extra $100 million from the league for stadium build/renovation, above and beyond the $200MM the NFL usually kicks in... yeah, it's a rough life.

Maybe he should take his ball and go to St. Louis or San Antonio. I hear Portland is nice.

                          • From what I heard Kronke was going to build a stadium and move out there regardless of the vote (how that would happen I don't understand).

I also heard on Score today that Chip Kelly, who was hired in SF, used to get daily drug tests done on all his players. Who would want to play in SF if they knew that would happen?

San Diego still has the Q, built in 1967. It ain't happening, not in a year. If Spanos doesn't move in, the Raiders get a chance.

Spanos doesn't want to play second banana to Kroenke, otherwise he'd have already made the deal. Why, I'm not sure. He would immediately double his bottom line.

Here's how I see it playing out, Spanos decides to fiddle around for a year, trying to 'play both ends off the middle'. Then he decides he's staying in San Diego, but no stadium gets built.

When your consolation prize for not getting your way is an extra $100 million from the league for stadium build/renovation, above and beyond the $200MM the NFL usually kicks in... yeah, it's a rough life.
He'd double his money instantly with a move to LA.

I've always thought he should head out to San Antonio. Bigger, better market. That would show creativity.

Why daily? Random once a week would be more effective, IMO.
