    A great game to start the NFL season last night. It was a tale of two halves with Carolina looking like they could run away with it in the First Half, and then Denver doing their thing in the second half.
    And it all came down to the ole ice the kicker time out.

    I think the 49er's are in line for a beating next week

            Good first half by Bears but could have been better without the botched snap by the center on 4th and 1 and the botched play by Kevin White that led to an INT. Ossweiler never made that first down - it was a home field spot, but you can't win if you don't score in the second half. Maybe it will help that they are going up against more rookie QB's and not so good teams in next three weeks, but it didn't help today. At least there were some bright spots.

              Wow, the Chargers have a great game and the lead and still managed to piss it away.
              Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

                    I thought he did pretty well, all things considered. Damn shame he missed wide open receivers a few times.

                      He is a rookie. They will do that, mostly why they don't start right out of college.

                      Cowboys needed a break, didn't get one.

                        First-time NFL starting QBs did pretty damn well overall this week.

                        Dak Prescott DAL - lost by 1
                        Carson Wentz PHI - won
                        Trevor Simien DEN - won
                        Jimmy Garoppolo NE - won

                        Considering that New England and Denver were actually playing contending teams, that's pretty amazing, really.

                            Interesting tidbit from the SNF game: Carson Palmer's salary ($24.3M) is higher than the total salary of last night's starting 11 for the Patriots offense.

                                What's really amazing is $7.6 million for the entire offensive line on a legit contending team.
