Hope the Bears special teams coach was all over #24 for the Bears who they just signed this week and should immediately cut! How can you hit the returner before he has the ball?? Idiot!!!
It all went downhill after Gould missed the FG. Then they just fell apart, committing penalties and making turnovers, and not taking advantage and scoring to put the game away.

This is the Bears team we would like to see the rest of the season. Only bad point was the one lineman that had three penalties, but none of those really hurt them. Jay took care of the football; Matt, Alshon and Brandon did what they do best, the special teams didn't make any mistakes and the defense played like Bears defenses of old (and without their three starting linebackers).Comment

In the category of injury-fueled underachievement, Atlanta showed the Bears they still have a ways to go. Still, a much-needed win.
Green Bay and San Diego both wriggled off the hook with late wins. Cleveland made Pittsburgh look horrible, and Dallas served notice (at Seattle!) that they intend to compete for the division. An interesting day of football.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Raiders week in the Hole is always a day of pissy, pissy football. Lots of bad blood between the teams. I remember when Schotty coached he didn't care how many games they won so long as they went 2-0 against the Raiders.Green Bay and San Diego both wriggled off the hook with late wins.
