Jacksonville is the newcomer and the odd man out. The city is a ****hole. Tampa's franchise is secure.
The NFL wants to put a franchise in the obvious place: Los Angeles. Personally, I think they should build a stadium there and stage the Super Bowl there every year. (Yeah, been saying that for years...) But hosting the SB has turned into a big perk that helps new stadia get built, so that probably won't happen.
My list for expansion cities would include Portland OR and Raleigh-Durham. San Antonio would be OK. Memphis is big enough, but YUCK! Great music scene, but SO low rent.Apolyton's Grim Reaper 2008, 2010 & 2011

Portland doesn't have the fan bandwidth to support its own NFL team. We're a Seahawk town. There's not even enough fan base to support an MLB or NHL team. We've got the Blazers and the Timbers, and that's really our pro sports team ceiling IMO.Tutto nel mondo è burlaComment
