Wow. There is a God after all. Chargers make it. 9-7. They play Cincy in the playoffs. First playoff run in 4 years.

5-7, won 4 in a row. Holy ****ing crap.

This is the best comeback of all time.

Redskins beat the Chargers earlier this year. Looks like San Diego is winning the Super Bowl folks*

They beat the Eagles too. What a crazy ****ing season.

Chargers end the year 4-2 in their division with a loss to Denver at home and Oakland in the hole. 9-7 with losses to Washington, Oakland, Houston and Tennessee. Split vs Denver and 2-0 vs KC, and they beat Indy too. That's 4 wins against playoff teams. What a bipolar club. 2nd highest deviation ever between strength of win percentage vs strength of loss percentage behind only the 2003 Patriots.

Really fun one to watch. Lots of great plays, lots of weird plays on both sides.
Obviously, I'm bummed at the outcome, but with those defenses, neither team is Super Bowl worthy, and it was great to see the Bears come out ballin' when it counted.

Cutler and the Bears played well! That was an exciting game too. What can you say? When Rodgers has to make a last minute throw to win or lose, that loss isn't on the Bears. You'll win your fair share that way.

How does Mike McCarthy not go for two when down two at about the 11:00 mark of the fourth quarter of that game? It makes zero sense. He got away with it, but still incredibly stupid.

I agree... I tried running every scenario I could in my mind to see why the extra point was the smart play, and I couldn't come up with any reason.

Besides the idiotic "it's too early" argument, the only thing I could think of was that he was assuming that they wouldn't be able to keep the Bears out of the endzone: He was afraid they would fail the two point try and the Bears would score a TD making it a 9 point, two possession game. However, if they take the one (which they did) and the Bears score a TD (which they didn't) it is back to 8 -- and they still need a TD and a two point conversion just to force overtime. Try the two at the earliest point so you at least know what you need to do.

This was game mismanagment on a Leslie Frasier-ian scale.
