I might have to agree with you Al. I was asked the other day who I thought would win the NFC North and it hard to come up with an answer. I have no faith in the Lions. The only reason Stafford puts up good numbers is because of Megatron; otherwise he sucks. The Packers without Rodgers can't even beat the Vikings. The Vikings are the Vikings. That leaves the Bears, but their defense couldn't stop a high school team from putting up 200+ yards rushing. The entire division blows.

The massively depleted, shockingly undisciplined Bears defense will continue to be raped by any and all running attacks. Their current talent inventory would struggle to compete in the NCAA.
Oh, and they get Adrian Peterson this Sunday.

I'm really surprised how well the seahawks are playing tonight. We looked bad on the lone drive where they scored but our offense is just exploiting them and executing insanely.

Missed most of the OT for the Bears game due to only adding 15 minutes on DVR. Finished watching at 1 AM and then had to find replays. Fantastic day by AJ to almost overcome what AP did, but penalties once again killed Bears. Bye, bye to playoffs with that loss.

Coach of the Year: Andy Reid
MVP: Peyton Manning, though it's boring.
Offensive Player of Year: Would have said Drew Brees but not so sure now. Calvin Johnson maybe.
Defensive Player of Year: Robert Mathis
Offensive Rookie: Yuck. After last year where Luck, RG3, Wilson, Doug Martin, and Alfred Morris all deserved it, no one deserves it this year. Seemed destined for Geno since he was a QB on a surprising playoff contending team but then he went from mediocre to just plain sucking. Mike Glennon turned around the Bucs but he doesn't have the hype or name recognition. Maybe plodding Eddie Lacy gets this by default or he plays better with Rodgers returning.

Comeback Player: Terrell Suggs though Knowshon Moreno deserves some credit

I'm thinking Keenan Allen for Offensive ROY.

LeVeon Bell and Giovani Bernard should also be in the team photo. And Zac Stacy. But no RB has had the playing time to be great (Bell, Stacy and Lacy all missed significant time.) And absolutely no QB this year -- Manuel, Geno and Glennon have all been brutal.

If you're going RB for ROY, Bernard is the only contender who actually played and contributed all season long (except wk1 iirc). Stacy, Lacey, and LeVeon all missed 3-6 games. Only Lacy is likely to rush for 1,000. Bernard will have over 50 catches and has 7 TDs. I like Stacy as a player, but he didn't get consistent playing time until the last few weeks - too little too late.

Overall, I still like Keenan at this point. RBs typically can jump in and produce, but WRs tend to be notorious for taking 2-3 years to become elite. Keenan is having a great rookie season. Five 100-yd games, should easily clear 1K total and 70+ catches.

All things considered, that wasn't too bad of a game. Schaub looked sharp. He'll be in the competition somewhere else.

He went through such a brutal stretch, I doubt he'll find a starting job next year. He's shouldering a lot of the blame in Houston.
