What everyone 'assumes' is often wrong. Schneider's already tied a Canuck record, with one playoff win, by a goalie drafted by the Canucks. Tied with Troy Gamble. For all the Canuck's reputation as a goalie graveyard, they've made careers for quite a few goalies off the scrapheap elsewhere.Everyone assumes that Vancouver is making Scneider "their guy" and there is NO WAY he goes elsewhere
Luongo's 32, playing well, started most of the games, and did just fine this year. It would be nice if they could hang onto Schneider, but the logistics suggest it would be easier to trade Schneider while his value is high and hang onto Luongo.
