Then the rules should state this explicitly. Right now, you list in the third row, "in this order", which makes it more confusing. Don't use lists for priority in one line, but for something else in another.

Basically, it's just to prevent someone from deciding that Kicker is an offensive position and assigning one early.

So let's put that in the rules instead.

The fact the Flex isn't listed would, to a person with even a modicum of comprehension skills, be ample evidence of that.

Yeah, but you do list 5 total RBs and WRs, so yeah, you are in fact referring to the flex.

One cannot predict what positions will have already been taken; one cannot predict what position of need will have the highest Actual listing. If the BAPAY victim needs more than one offensive starter, they get the player that is higher on the Actual list, regardless of which needed position that might be. THAT'S WHY THERE'S NO STRICT LISTING OF POSITIONAL PRIORITY in the first two categories.

This "discussion" is just another example of Ben's obtuse, goalpost-moving approach to any disagreement. The number of misleading statement and irrelevant arguments and revisionist history in his posts are almost as numerous as the quantity of sentences. Like implying that I corrected a BAPAY of Berz's when all I did was correct his statement of how bapays work. Like saying I screwed up the procedure when in fact I made the correct selection, except for the wrong league. (If Ray Lewis hadn't been the 3rd LB taken at FFZ, I would have gotten it right.) I have tried very hard to separate these things from fantasy football and sports, where only the latter of those issues is relevant.

You have consistently made it very difficult to do so. No one else even vaguely approaches the number of conflicts you have created in what is, as Guy points out, just a freaking game. That's a matter of public record. I understand that, in your mind, you are somehow doing things that are allowable. But your seeming inability to accept any statement or judgment against you is frustrating, time-consuming, disrepectful of my time, subversive to the authority and responsibilities of the commish, and frankly has made running the league a pain in the ass.

I stood up for you at FFZ, but must admit I am now convinced that those who refuse to play in a league that includes you may, in fact, be making the smarter judgment.

Umm, I don't see how assigning someone a bapay is wrong when your own rules encourage people to do so. I'm trying to help out and I pretty much always ask before hand if I have the correct one. Which is what I did with Coldwizard, and he corrected me. I corrected the BAPAY, which Berz changed back to the player that I selected for him.

No, you calling out players trying to help and dumping on them, and then screwing up and then calling out the player for making the same mistake (assigning an incorrect bapay), that is what is undermining you. Nothing I've done.

I don't think that's appropriate behaviour for a commissioner ever, to make this statement before his league that he hates a fellow manager so much. But then that's just me. I don't hate you JR. If the rules are unclear and people are making mistakes because of them, change the damn rules so that people stop making the same mistakes.
