  • Houston and TCU, and you'll have the SWC again. Minus the Razorbacks.

Put OK and OK state in the north division, and have an all TX division with

    Texas
    Baylor
    Houston
    TCU
    Texas Tech
    Texas AM

    and then

    Oklahoma
    Ok State
    Kansas
    Kansas St
    Iowa St
    Missouri

    • I would love the 3 of them to join the conference. SMU and TCU could fill the void. Houston is more iffy.

      • Well sure, they all could, but that would mean adding another team to the north. Who would you invite? Boise really belongs in a mountain conference. Maybe Tulsa? Tulsa, OK and OK state in the same conference would be cool.

        Texas
        Baylor
        Houston
        TCU
        Texas Tech
        Texas AM
        SMU

        and then

        Oklahoma
        Ok State
        Kansas
        Kansas St
        Iowa St
        Missouri
        Tulsa

        • Boise should jump at the opportunity. Then neither TCU nor Boise would need to worry about fighting an uphill battle for respect.

And Go, Wisconsin! I didn't pick them, but I'll laugh heartily if they can trounce Ohio State.

True, the WAC has basically lost all the strong members, but strong members are leaving the MWC for one of the other conferences.

If the Big 12 (14) brought in Boise they'd be the strongest conference with the SEC a close second. Boise, TCU, Oklahoma all in the top 10 right now vs LSU and Auburn?

                    • Buh-bye, Buckeyes. As usual, you prove to be frauds of the highest order, and it's good to see one more argument against Boise State getting a title shot be discredited.

                      • Yep, but I'd be worried about Awbrun. Are you sure the SEC will let you stay in the division?

                        • I'm not too worried. A look at the schedule shows that next week's battle against the Mad Hatter is really the only thing standing between Auburn going into Tuscaloosa undefeated, and it's actually quite refreshing to see a SEC offense that can seemingly score at will. (At the very least, at this point you'd be hard-pressed to come up with someone ahead of Cam Newton on the Heisman list.)

                          • I meant the 65 points part. I'm sure there's a regulation against it in the SEC. I mean you see it all the time, but not against an SEC rival.

I wouldn't dismiss Miles. It seems like he made a pact with the devil. Going undefeated and looking terrible while doing so?

                            • I'm sure we'll get a more normal score next week when LSU comes to town.

As far as pacts with the devil are concerned... the devil eventually comes to collect. (Unless you're the New York Yankees, in which case the devil is a permanent shareholder.) *evil grin*
