    • I'd just like to state that Temple really ticked me off today. It's not even one of NIU's better teams.
What you do? Bet on them or something?

      • lol roll Tide...

Oregon just finished their nightmare game of the season. They beat Washington State 43-23, but Kenjon Barner was sent to the hospital and minor injuries took Darron Thomas and LaMichael James out of the game. Good thing next week is a bye week...

        Oregon will be #2 tomorrow.

        • And Oregon State over UA at halftime is pretty surprising. I don't believe it will hold, though, especially since James Rodgers is now out of the game (and I'd guess the season) with a bad knee injury.

          • Harbaugh would be an excellent fit for Michigan. Knows how to build a program. I think that he would do it in a few years. Maybe not next year.
I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. I'm not a betting man; learned how stupid that is fairly early in life. But I picked Temple to win this week in an online thing I do. No biggie, but I really thought they would romp. Apparently they don't travel well.

Depends on Oregon State. If they knock off Arizona, Boise will be number 2. TCU might even be 3. VT won again handily.

                  Dropped: Arizona

Nothing against Oregon, but when the SEC is nearly half the top ten and there are two unbeaten teams, one of them has to be in a NCS slot.

                  • GOD ****ING DAMMIT. Typical Auburn. When given a chance to make a real statement, we hand it right back. A last second field goal to beat ****ING KENTUCKY?!? Are you ****ing kidding me?!? I want Ted Roof dead of AIDS tomorrow and replaced yesterday. Jesus titty-****ing Christ. Still, 6-0 is nice.

reismark . I keep forgetting I'm not the only Auburn fan on the board.

That might have been the case if USC had beaten Stanford, but that didn't happen. As it is, BSU's toughest opponent is 4-2 while Oregon's is 5-1. Oregon's wins still look more impressive than BSU's.

Tomorrow the top three will be:

                          1. Ohio State
                          2. Oregon
                          3. Boise State

The real question is how far will Alabama fall. My guess is they'll be #5, maybe #6 with Nebraska moving up.

                                I'm predicting a 6-6 record.
