Good thing you're so deep at RB.Originally posted by Berzerker View PostGrant's out for the year, the only "good" to come of that is I got Brandon on 2 teams now - just not the team with Grant"I hope I get to punch you in the face one day" - MRT144, Imran Siddiqui

Yeah, but theres always the relative merits of free agents outweighing the potential of the person on your team.Originally posted by SlowwHand View PostPeople drop players so fast. Ryan Grant screws me a lot in a non-Apolyton league for money... he was my top RB.

I know other people are going to try to get Brandon Jackson and how this is set up, you bid on free agents and that money (real money) goes into the pot... so, I don't know if I want to pay any real money for Jackson if I have to get into a bidding war for him.

I have Jamaal Charles, Ahmad Bradshaw, and Justin Forsett in this league where you can only start up to 2 RB's. I could start 3 or 4 receivers instead but I'm not strong there either with Marshall, Crabtree, Gaffney, Maclin, and Santana Moss.

Looking at my team, Ryan Grant really was what was keeping me competitive despite a miserable week 1 performance and he was the only guy I could count on starting week in and week out.

How much real money would you be willing to pay for Jackson in this sort of league?"Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

F/A WR's are thin (Naanee, Collie, and Mark Clayton are the best) and I don't trust any of them. Likely, I'll have to trade somebody in a package deal to get a WR so getting Jackson would still have value (ie- if I trade Charles who, along with Marshall, are my two best players; then getting Jackson makes sense)Originally posted by Ben Kenobi View PostZero, you need WR help."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi

I'd take all three of those WRs. Drop Crabtree, Moss and Gaffney. Go three wide, Maclin, Collie and Marshall, with Clayton and Nannee as backups. Slot in any of the 4 behind Marshall according to matchups and there you go.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

Anyone else have any thoughts on this? Should I give up on Crabtree after 1 possibly fluky game? Are Collie and Naanee the real deal?Originally posted by Ben Kenobi View PostI'd take all three of those WRs. Drop Crabtree, Moss and Gaffney. I owned Collie all last year. He's the real deal.

Legs, basically, you have a chance to have the number 1 WR from one of the best Passing offenses. I'd be starting Collie, but he's stuck behind Driver and the matchup against hapless Buffalo.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

I'd still like to hear someone else's thoughts but I am leaning towards grabbing those two... I just don't trust that Collie will be a factor every week with Wayne, Garcon, Dallas Clark, and Anthony Gonzalez there. He had a few great games last year but had many games where he did nothing... then again, he is only in his second year, so he's young enough that he could actually be a superstar in development.Originally posted by Ben Kenobi View PostI owned Collie all last year. I don't think I would go so far as dropping Crabtree for either of them though after one week. I do have 2 open roster spots though so I don't need to."Flutie was better than Kelly, Elway, Esiason and Cunningham." - Ben Kenobi
