    Calgary has a winning record against Vancouver this season, and the last time they played, Calgary outshot Vancouver (and the third period was one of the most lopsided I've ever seen in terms of puck possession). As usual, you're out of touch with reality.
    After getting destroyed 3-0 and 20-6 in the first period.

    2-2-1 is the season series.
    Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

        I hate the point for the loss, cause you are both right on the season series record and that's messed up.

            So the auction league has no playoffs...it's just going to continue like normal. I'm in a very close 2nd there, and facing #1 (Sparrow) this week.

            Regular season has ended in the regular league. I have captured the President's Trophy. Now I have a bye until next week.

              Sorry to hear you won't be able to hold on to your second place tie then...unless Flubber has a really bad week I suppose. I have been chasing Flubber all year, and now this late in the season I finally get my rightful place in first, I am not eager to give it up so quickly.

              There is no shame in finishing 3rd though, especially for a Flames Fan

                          Ya my team in auction was fairly good -- my current position is my own fault. My inattention at a couple of points this season (sitting players accidentally so the roster spot went empty on the night cost me at least 4 category wins) I hate it but I figure it happens to everyone sometimes or if it doesn't, thats to their credit for playing the pool better. That plus my entirely bad call on some goalies puts me where I am


                          Overall I am fairly pleased with my year in the pools

                          Draft-- drafting 12th and got 2nd in the regular season andhe bye
                          Auction -- currently tied for second

                          Public league #1- regular season chanp-- had a bye last week
                          Public league #2 sixth in the regular season ( I also selected Ward and Mason in this pool)-- won my first playoff round and am currently in the semis

                            I think I've pitched my tent in the camp that is extremely happy with the Oilers' trade deadline.

                            Turning Visnovsky and Staios into Whitney, Johnson, and two draft picks is looking like a coup.

                              perhaps-- Johnson is good but he was not moving up the depth chart in Calgary any time soon. Whe the Flames acquired Staois I frankly questioned the move since it seemed to solve a problem the Flames did not have. Pardy had been just fine in the #6 spot and with Johnson there as potential relief it seemed the depth was present. I guess the question is whether Staios as a veteran presence makes any difference
