I don't see them dropping Thomas, and probably not Bell. The Saints have shown that they're fine having a stable of RB.

For LT? I can see them dropping Bell, and holding onto PT. We'll see. Someone's going to give him starter money, but I can see him taking a paycut to run with Brees again for a ring.

GM's perspective: LT hasn't dominated in two years. End-of-season injuries 2 of past 3 years - can't count on him deep into playoffs. And, lots of miles on him.

If he was the LT of 3-5 years ago, anyone would take him in a heartbeat.
Today, it's a much bigger gamble.

GM's perspective, you've got a living legend. This is no different then say Emmitt after he left the Cowboys, except that he's just 29.

He has had one season under 1000 yards, and has at least 10 touchdowns in every season. His productivity is greater then most of the RBs that start.

I can easily see teams putting up starting money up for him for a year contract, and take a chance.

I don't know how you consider 12 TDs and 1200 yards to be a 'bad' season.

He had something like 750 yards this year, gimping along. Not bad for a hurt player.
I don't know about that dwarf Sproles. I can see it would be hard for a tackler to get low on him.

LT will be 31 this June, which is over-the-hill age for RBs.
