You repeatedly offered me Shiancoe for various starting RBs (or, sometimes-starting RBs), when I repeatedly told you I didn't consider Shiancoe an upgrade. That's the key to trades... you have to offer the person you're trading with a player that, given the rest of their team, gives them a benefit. That's why Sloww and I's trade was a good deal for both sides... you can't take the trade out of context. Sloww traded a player to me that would be sitting on his bench doing nothing, and got a 5 point/game upgrade at TE. I similarly traded a player on my bench doing nothing in exchange for a more consistent RB situation. The trade strictly benefits both of us.

I'm looking to the playoffs at this point. The 5 points snoopy spoke of will help me more then than this week, and also help him.

Something for Jonathan Stewart? I'd have to look. You were shopping him, I wasn't really interested. That's why I made the counter-offer for Shiancoe. Maybe for Cadillac? I remember considering him at one point. I think you offered me Cadillac and TO for Colston and Kenny Britt. I'd have been about 5 points to the negative for that deal. Sadly TO is almost waiver wire material now, and that's why I turned the trade down.

Well sure. Did I say that Slowwy was hurt by the trade? No. Every trade has a winner and a loser, fact of life. My honest opinion is that the deal is better for you than Slowwy. Do you think I'm bothered by that? No, not really. Do I think it's unfair? No. I can see why the deal works for the both of you, I'm more annoyed because I was pondering the Cooley injury just as the trade deal comes up.

I imagine this will be T.O.'s last year. He can't play at all under his and the team's limitations.

Why does every trade have to have a winner and a loser??? That's pretty stupid. Trades should have two winners, or nobody would trade except for stupid people...

Fact 1:

Trade benefits both people.

Fact 2:

One person benefits more than the other.

Without both, trades would never happen. It's not an either/or question. Both are true.

You'd never make a trade where you didn't think you'd benefit more. Sure you help Slowwy, great. But in the end, you're the winner. Come off it snoopy.

Crickets? Those little bastards ate a tent of mine. I guess it was my fault. I folded it up next to the garage and left it a while. They didn't have to eat it though. I've never felt quite the same about crickets since then.

Ben, you were not given flak for accepting the trade. Anyone would have jumped at that deal.

I questioned the imbalance of that trade (2-for-1, with the #6 scorer in FF as the throw-in) in my role as commissioner. (I saw absolutely no need to do so in this case.)

More to the point:
