    Two points out of first.

    I've watched plenty of worse years.

    98 points is now the threshold, so any combination of 16 points in their next 10 games will clinch.
    Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

      Calgary?? -- 4 points up with a game in hand on Nashville-- Exactly .500 would put them at 94 points-- Nashville would need to go 7-2 to match them in points--


      Edmonton?-- I am astonished at how well they have been doing lately-- Sure Rollie had 48 saves but it doesn't matter how-- they took down a Sharks team that had not lost in forever-- BUt they could go undefeated the rest of the way and still not make the playoffs if the Nucks and Flames are decent at all

        Toronto? The fact that the Flyers are on a 4 game losing streak and still the Leafs are way out shows how really out of it they were. But yet I still see media reports talking about the Leafs playoff chances

        If it was just Philly they had to catch I could see some hope since Philly has been sucking but there are Buffalo, Washington, and Florida in there . . . I like Washington's chances and have always thought that Biuffalo is better than they have shown. However with stubborn Boston still in there, it looks unlikley that Washington and Buffalo could make it.

              Yep, all thanks to the shootout. What is it, 16 "bonus" points now? That's just stupid.

              The team is terrible, but they have a couple terrific shootout specialists. This is why it's an embarrassment to the league.

                I think they should take away the loser OT and SO.

                9 points in OT for losing by Calgary? That's lame.

                At least Edmonton is winning and earning the two points.

                        Another puzzling point of Ben's whining is Vancouver and Calgary have the same # of OT Loss points, but Calgary has 1 more win than Vancouver with the same # of games played.

                        And Vancouver has gotten more wins ("fake wins") out of the shootout than Calgary has...
