    Sad thing is that this game may cost Matt Holliday the MVP award. He was probably up there, but seeing him go 1 for 5 and messing up on the defensive play that tied the game, his vote totals may be far lower than they would have been.

    Not saying it's right... just saying how the voters may see it.

      My prediction: If the Rockies go to the playoffs, Holiday is MVP (as of this inning).

                And as I say that Holliday TIES the game with a triple! NO OUTS!

                snoopy, maybe you were on to something!!!

                If Holliday scores the winning run here, after hitting a game tying triple... everything else is wiped out. And it may be a foregone conclusion that he wins the MVP.

                    Holy @%$^@... triple for the tie game! No out, man on third... off Hoffman... this is shades of Luis Gonzalez and Rivera in 2001 ... and trust me, to the Rockies this game is game 7 of the world series.

                      Add on to that two legs of the triple crown, and if the Rockies win tonight as it looks like they will, how can you argue with him for MVP?

                                But the umps missed it... and it was pretty obvious.
