Asher has a point in that we all need to make reasonable efforts to pick fast. What he doesn't seem to understand is that most people will do their best usually and that people might have reasonable real life reasons for the posting/picking behavior that bothers him so.

So two messages

1. Lets all cut each other some slack
2. Pick as soon as you can

I'm perfectly understanding that people have things in real life that prevents them from picking quickly. These simply DO NOT APPLY when the person is active and online and posting.

It really should not be difficult to have a list of players in mind, and when your turn comes up, see who is still available and make a quick pick. In live drafts, you have 90 seconds. I have a VERY hard time believing anyone can take several hours contemplating a single pick.

I also point out that nye was not busy with real life issues here, he chose to enter discussions before making his pick, knowing full well people here are waiting for him to pick.

I'm not upset if people can take even 24 hours to make a pick because they are busy in real life. When these people are online and chit-chatting, it is very clear they are not being reasonable in their efforts to quickly make their pick.

1. have a "sleeper" goalie pick or two with the idea that one of them will certainly be available later or possibly look to pick up a goalie later when someone starts to surprise OR

2. You just hope to be overwhelmingly powerful in the skater categories and win most weeks by winning those categoeies
