More likely the occupied territories will be retaken, as the Russian army retreats collaborators and people who support the Putin regime will flee with them, then the people who remain will mostly be pro-Ukraine.

It is possible that Russia out lasts Ukraine and western help dries up but we shall see.

No, that was never the goal. I was addressing the people who said this was about protecting Europe. The goal was a quick war and peace deal granting the east autonomy/independence with a Ukrainian commitment to neutrality. That failed when the Russian army advancing on Kiev was pulled back to deal with the war in the east, but that will be the end result. Eastern Ukraine will vote on their future and Kiev will be largely demilitarized.

So, are you saying Putin will be conquering Ukraine soon?

Global warming might have saved Ukraine over the winter, it didn't get cold enough to freeze the ground. From what I hear it'll be over soon after the ground dries enough for heavy machinery. Zelensky is warning Bakhmut could fall and implying Ukraine will be done when it does. I'm surprised they're lasting this long, I'd say the mission was accomplished. Putin wont be conquering Europe any time soon.

Which means the tritium in fusion bombs needs to be replaced every 4 - 5 years (5 is stretching it) or they get reduced to the effect of tactical fission bombs.

    Just came across this:

Fu Cong, China's Ambassador to the EU, said that statements about "no limits to friendship" between China and Russian are "nothing but rhetoric". Source: The New York Times citing Fu Cong's interview; RBC, citing the statement of Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Details: Fu Cong said China was not on Russia's side in the war and that some people deliberately misinterpreted the declaration about 'no limit friendship' between China and Russia, signed on the

How lucky for you that the Ukrainians are giving you lots of opportunities to die for Putins greed.

These are the weapons assembled by the guys who take the 12 Vodka lunches, right? They are supposed to be fired by the guys who drink jet fuel just for fun, right?

If this war has shown anything, it is the incompetence of the Russian military supply chain. Why should the nukes be any different. I bet half your missiles would blow up in their silos if you tried to fire them.

You were farting into the pond so loud with your SDI, when it reality it was just a farse, but now keep being silent about any improvments of your modern nuclear missiles in time of conflict with Russia, except that you have finnaly abondoned floppy disks to launch your missiles (if it is true of course - that is a major upgrade, my ass!!! But the hardware is still the same - it is still the same piece of metal designed 70 years ago and build 50 years ago. You have no single bew design for your nuclear arms, except an upgrade for a freefall nuclear bombs and have a zero strategic missiles commissioned since Reagan!)
Understandable for someone who come from a country where "maintenance" is considered an opportunity to go grab another Vodka.

The Y-12 plant in Oak Ridge is constantly busy machining nuclear cores. They are probably more up to date than Russia's are. Not to mention, who knows what level of corruption exists in the Russian supply chain there.

And again Serb... Just how is the short military exercise going? Over a year, and you still haven't achieved any where near your goals.
We can ALL see who is failing here. But that's ok, you can keep talking about how great your military is, even though it kind of sucks.
