The weapons aren't actually any faster, "Hypersonic" in military parlance is about speed and maneuverability. Accuracy demonstrates maneuverability. Given that somehow Ukraine was able to export electricity again I really don't think the accuracy of the KINZHAL has proven to be anything special. Why would we expect anything more from Russia's strategic "hypersonic" weapons?

Do you have a source for your claim that Iraq was more heavily bombed than Ukraine? It certainly looks as if Russia has expended more munitions of all types than the "coalition of the willing" did in Iraq. For example there were no accounts of usage of old mothballed munitions in Iraq but there's plenty of evidence of this occurring in the special operation.

In fact the greatest consumption of munitions in Iraq was small arms. Bullet stockpiles were very heavily drawn down during the occupation. If your tactics consist largely of flattening entire settlements from afar, well, you don't need bullets for the cleanup so much as bulldozers.

Even if we accept that WW2 got close enough to defeat for the USSR that the USSR would have lost without lend lease as MWHC seems to suggest, I have never understood why that means Soviets should be grateful to the US but the US doesn't need to feel grateful to the USSR. The Third Reich declared war on the US and dealing with the Third Reich after it successfully conquered much of the USSR and knocked them out of the war would have been orders of magnitude harder than dealing with the Kaiser's central powers without the Russian empire was in the first world war. Of the Allied great powers France was defeated and the USSR was by far the next closest to defeat but it did more damage to the Third Reich than all of the other allies combined.

The Third Reich started war against both the USSR and the US. Either both owe thanks to the other or neither do.
