According to Real Clear Politics, it is now 66 Biden, 34.9 Trump. They reported it as tied as recently as September 1.
I think that there are some pretty obvious inefficiencies in the market and have been, probably somewhat explained by but not entirely explained by lack of liquidity.

Canada's analyst suggests Trump will lose. They have 85% Biden instead of 88% from 538. They also have 3% that Trump takes the popular vote.

I get bored with this ****. Yes, the state has problems with very unrealistic political mandates driving up costs (closing the San Onofre nuclear power plant was stupidity) but I have only had two power outages in the last year (maybe three in the last six years). One was because a drunk driver drove his truck into power transformer (which cut power to around 600 houses for eight hours as they rebuilt the power transformer) and a three hour outage due to a wildfire in east county which damaged a transmission line. I will admit we had a brown out on two days last summer during a record heat wave due to so many people running AC at max.Originally posted by Kidicious View Post
That never used to happen so that probably was due to environmental regulations making the grid less robust. Supposedly things are getting better with massive battery installations smooth out the peaks and valleys in energy production with renewables.
