Riot supporters are nitpicking about that and the fact that he's 17. He may get charged with some petty crime. That would be wrong, but who really cares.

Even if guilty of that it is a misdemeanor where as he clearly is not guilty of the trumped up murder charges. It was textbook self defense as far as I can see. The only thing I am confused about is the other shots from other people.

There were one or two polls showing a drop, and 538 average moved down.

It has mostly moved back up, as a lot of additional polls have just been reported that do not show any drop by Biden.

The one interesting part of that link is you learn why Antifa thugs decided to attack the patriots. Antifa set a dumpster on fire and were trying to push it into a business to set it on fire and it was the teen who grabbed a fire extinguisher and put it out the dumpster fire. That is why the Antifa became angry and started to attack him; he upset their plans for arson.

I have done some reading and looking into the situation and I admit that disrupts my biases.

I have sort of figured that the protests were educated whites and minorities, but the two people who were killed were poor uneducated whites. It makes me think that maybe the focus of the protests should have been registering people to vote and educating them, especially on local issues like police, instead of making a statement. Of course, the nature of protests is that they are often not organized and can get out of control.

Self defense, which I don’t think is supported based on the circumstances, would only be evidence against intentional homicide and possibly against the reckless homicide.

however in similar situations other open carrying counter protestors did not shoot and kill Joseph so I think self defense is not a good defense against Joseph either
