Been thinking on the argument that it isn't any of Texas's business how Georgia runs its election, or any of the other 3 states in Texas's suit. Well, think I have something. If Georgia etc acts unconstitutionally in its process, and a candidate is elected due to their methods, then that person is president of not only Georgia, but Texas as well. So, it is the business of Texas how Georgia runs its election. All states share and are obliged to act according the the Constitution. It is a shared system of rules and any state that steps out of line is, in effect, breaking the law, the law which is enforced by SCOTUS. That is why SCOTUS will support the Texas suit, because if they don't, they are out a job.

The claim of popular sovereignty stopped being a thing with the Civil War. That's why I think it's generally accepted that states have some say about how other states govern.

Absolutely. More importantly, I would say though, is that Texas is harmed by those states violating the Constitution to get the VP elected who has the tie breaker vote in the Senate.
