Well, they don't have a reason to complain ... it isn't as if those tests haven't been made on humans as well (as it now has turned up)

Despite its plumber passengers, the Norwegian aircraft was forced to turn due to broken toilets.

An Amtrak train was carrying lawmakers, including Speaker Paul Ryan, from Washington DC to their annual retreat in West Virginia when it collided with a dump truck

Has the Republican party completely derailed?

Got to wonder what they're thinking at VW et al. It's kinda like:

"Let's cheat on emissions, nobody will find out!"

          "Err..."

"Ok, but then let's do stuff with monkeys and people, this will certainly go down well!"

          "Err..."

All brilliant ideas. Not that tests with animals or even human volunteers aren't done anywhere else, but this seemed completely unneeded.

yes, it does kind of boggle the mind. Drugs at board meetings may not be such a great idea.

You simply can't make this stuff up...

                  REVENGE OF THE BIRDS

A dead goose fell from the sky Thursday and knocked a waterfowl hunter unconscious.

Robert Meilhammer, a 51-year-old resident of Crapo in Dorchester County, Md., was hunting as part of a larger party near the Miles River around 5 p.m. when a flock of geese flew overhead. The group fired on birds.

One goose fell, striking Meilhammer and knocking him out.

"One of the members of the hunting party shot and killed the goose," said Maryland Natural Resources Police spokeswoman Candy Thomson. "It is unclear which one it was."

Meilhammer suffered head and facial injuries, and was airlifted to Maryland Shock Trauma, Thomson said.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

A man in China found a puppy, which he brought home as a pet. But the puppy wasn't a dog, it was an Asian black bear, he only discovered when it grew. The bear got turned over to animal welfare.

A man in China found a cute abandoned puppy dog and decided to adopt it. As the puppy grew larger though he started to wonder if he had been mistake. It turns out his "puppy" was actually an Asian black bear.

How do you confuse a bear with a puppy?

There's mostly sad news coming out of Syria, and Turkey's incursion/invasion is problematic too. But all that aside I found this pic rather disturbing, mainly because I'm not quite sure what the guy making the V sign is holding in his other hand...
