MOSCOW—Burger King says it’s sorry for offering a lifetime supply of Whoppers to Russian women who get pregnant from World Cup players.
Critics assailed the offer, announced on Russian social media, as sexist and demeaning.
The announcement was removed Tuesday from Burger King’s social media accounts but is still circulating among Russian social network users. It promised a reward to women who get “the best football genes” and “ensure the success of the Russian team for generations to come.”

I just read this on BBC
If it weren't so 'Russian' of them it actually makes sense in an evolutionary standpoint. I do believe genes play a part in skills of the offspring.
For example, I am a 4th Generation con-man... all on my father's side, all the men. I have an innate ability to read people in a microsecond and determine their motives. This helped me survive with no other intellectual skills for 40 years. People always say I am smart... but I am not. I have no memory or concentration. It is wisdom and instinct.
