Is there room for people who support the state of Israel and do not criticize it in the movement?’ There can’t be in feminism.
    With other words:
Someone who supports the state of Israel, but also criticizes it, has a place in the feminist movement
Only supporters of Israel who don't criticize Israel (regarding its treatment of palestinians) have no place in the feminist movement.

Well, the statement in this sentence is very clear and it is that god caused the hardening of the heart of pharaoh.

Disregarding it, leads to the well known problem of cherrypicking just to make god look good/not as bad
(one has to say however that even without it there are enough passages that make god look bad ... for example Hiob: God destroying the life and whole family of a believer (and thereby willfully causing suffering) just because he had a bet running with Satan ... or the cases of genocide that were ordered by god ... god hardening pharaohs heart in orer to be able to cause te 7 plagues actually fits very well into this picture of god )

      • I had to wake up in the middle of the night to update something on a website. Thus my sleeping tonight was not Sharia. I have a headache. I hope you're happy

Since she supports Islam which openly treats women as something horrible, and criticizes Isreal, which treats women equally I think you don't understand what she is saying.

          • Kid, I suggest you learn to acknowledge when you are clearly, factually incorrect. It would buy you credibility that you definitely do not have on this site.

If you really don't understand the meaning of those two sentences taken together - a quote that you posted - I suggest that you learn English.

I already know that language is not your strength.

              ... that was being nice.

              • LOL. I make a pretty nice living as a writer, working independently in the corporate world.
                My clients would disagree.

But hey, if that's what you need to believe, feel free.

Well if you don't know the difference between "because he humped a statue" and "because he made a bold political statement that I agree with" then you're a hack and you should return their money.

First... he did hump a statue... that's a fact.
The bold political statement? You don't know why he did it, as you even admit... and he might just have been drunk... you're just making stuff up to fit your warped world view.

Face it... you claimed he was masculine for what he did... which was humping a statue.... Those are the ONLY FACTS. Everything else, such as a "bold statement", is just made up crap.

I'm not disregarding it. I really don't care if God hardened his heart or not, not that I think he did. I mean do you really expect people to not believe in the Bible because of this kind of thing? That really seems unrealistic to me. I didn't become a Christian because I studied the Bible and considered any statements that didn't make sense me grounds to not believe in it. I read it and believed in it. It's that simple, and that's how I think most people are.

Actually you can read many articles on the web that treat this as a political statement. Really the only people who think he was just drunk are the gaggle of apolyton morons that you are a very big part of.

Far from being a fact, it's a lie. You lie all the time, calling people racist, women hater etc... This is more of that crap.

                        • And the LORD hardened the drunken man's penis, and he would not stop humping the little girl statue. And Kid looked down upon him, and saw that he was masculine. So sayeth the LORD.

IDK why some people study it like it's a gospel or something. It's just ancient porn.

It's ok because it's really really old.

So it's just a lot of useless hand-wringing and manufactured outrage over a photo on the internet. On both sides.
