According to what, the vote in parliament? Your own source said that 40 percent believe that personhood begins at conception. Seems to me that there's many, many parliamentarians that are not representing their constituents.

Nevertheless the same poll lists the acceptance of abortion when the health or life of the mother is in danger. or if the child was conceived as result of rape or incest at > 70% and the acceptance of abortion in case the child was born disabled still at 52%.
Which are exactly the (only) reasons when, in poland, abortion is legal. So by keeping the status quo they exactly represent the will of the majority.
The only reasons for abortion where there is no majority acceptance in the poll (to be more exactly, always less than 20%), are reasons which are already illegal under the current polish laws (personal/financial problems of the mother or child is unwanted)

I would support abortion in that circumstance because of how deliberately poorly written this survey is.

A better way to do this survey would be to split it out which it does not do. That 30 percent do not support abortion even in the case where the mother might die is significant.

If you look at the actual numbers (in the linked summary or the complete survey) you'll see that support for abortion in this case is actually 81% ... so "just" 19% are opposed to legal abortion in case the mother might die as the result of the pregnancy.
(still a too high number IMHO ... but still, fortunately just a minority of < 1/5 of the population)
