You make about $25,000 annually from what I estimate. You're adding in an extra zero.. . sorry.

No, but then, I like living in Texas, I like teaching in a Catholic private High school, and I'm quite satisfied with my current boss. Why would I leave it for someone who's publicly quoted that he despises me and what I believe in? The only thing that would make that worth it would be a high level of compensation.
You get very poorly paid... I think that's probably enough reason to leave lol.

I have everything I need. Now it is time to spend money to make money.

I want to spend a lot of money. I have so much money to spend. In addition, I'm going to walk into offices and ask for all the money investors will give me.

We will be securing tens of millions in loans for real estate and equipment using existing assets and projected earnings to meet the necessary criteria. My wife will be the official face of all of this. She is from St. Louis... Ferguson area, though she moved around a lot. She will be a prominent CEO. Her status as an African American woman will also help her qualify for programs more suited towards urban development and minority business ownership programs/goals.

        SBA loans.

        I want some.

Relevant companies will be structured to be ideal candidates.
Sava, she is ideal for Minority/set aside Federal Contractor work, Woman owned business as well...great opportunities. Word of advice, locate your office in a Hub-Zone, many times that alone gets you a 10 % advantage at bid time, however, you will be arriving late to the party, at least around here as many service disabled companies (veterans who rate service disability status), minority as well as woman owned businesses have floded the market. There are criteria of course, frm experience mods and workman comp mods to safety mods you have to meet.

        Good luck sir!

Doing the same thing. However, we would be starting up. New protocols and policies need to be written. The business structure needs to get designed, implemented, and made official. These tasks require more than one person and multiple specialists. I have the money lined up to hire everyone we need and purchase any equipment.

            Lori's résumé:

I'm really good at typing and pointing out people's mistakes. (This represents most of what I've been paid to do in the past.) I what know should order in go words. I keep my calm when doing otherwise would be embarrassing. (I keep my calm in public with strangers.) I will have a BS in astronomy with a minor in philosophy in 3 months. This means I have significantly above average knowledge of math, physics, and logic (but way less knowledge than an expert). I possess the correct answers to the most important questions humans ask.

Sean, my specialty is accommodating individuals with "special" needs... like myself.

I suffer from a debilitating mental illness that, at times, prevents me from looking my own wife in the face. I've been able to design a lifestyle with comprehensive strategies that facilitate my productivity.

Whatever you need, we'll help you get it.
Sava, thanks for writing this to me. I apologize for my comments earlier.

I appreciate your offer, but I'm honestly happy with my current job and my employment.

But there are a set of minimum standards, protocols and decorum in a workplace environment... that, quite frankly, you demonstrate ZERO ability over the years in being able to effectively integrate culturally with, what I would classify as basic, polite, common, decent society.
*shrug* You've never met me in person. You've not worked with me before. I've worked many jobs over the years.

I can't have you, in your free time, running down to the corner with graphic pictures of abortions just because you happen to think that, A, that's a worthwhile cause, and B, it is something that you are in any way capable of affecting. Don't be a dog barking a cars. That's totally useless to me.
Why do you care what I do on my own time? I'm not wearing a "Savacorp" hat. My time is my time. By the same token, my employers time is my employers time. Those are two different things. All companies have different standards, in terms of employee conduct. You seem to think I'm some zealot who wanders around in my day to day life shouting at the top of my lungs that girls who get abortions are whores, etc.

Meet the man first then decide whether your assessment is correct.

*shrug*. 100k pretax plus say, 2k relocation from Texas is not that much of an unreasonable demand. I have a history degree from a secular, accreditated university in college, plus more than a half decade of relevant American work experience.

You get very poorly paid... I think that's probably enough reason to leave lol.
Are you happy doing what you do? I really enjoy teaching where I'm at. It's my dream job and I'm thrilled to have it. Plus, Texas rocks, yo.

Can you behave yourself? Can you be professional? Can you do your job without, say, expressing your support for the apartheid government in South Africa?

Your job isn't a platform for you to discuss religion or politics.
Let's see, I've worked as an inventory clerk, treeplanter, worked in a bindery, worked in a tree nursery, pizza delivery, worked in a warehouse, for a textbook company etc. Not news to me. I draw a sharp line between 'my' time and 'work' time. Work time is for working, my time is for my stuff. You have every right to insist that your employees follow standard conduct rules, etc. I have no issue with that and have worked in many similar environments over the years.

I've Temped over the years and twice been hired for a fulltime position off Temping. I know the drill, Sava. You really have a wrong impression of me here. All the time, I bet you couldn't name an actual employer that I've had here. There's a reason for that. I know how corporate works, and I have no desire to impinge on an employer's reputation because of my time here.

                    • Yup. I've worked as both a technical writer and an editor. But I've also done a lot of data entry, where I usually end up QCing other people's data entry.

From observing your posts, attitude and aptitude for various conversations over the years I know you will guide with a steady hand, as you said, not one but many specialists will be required.

We have been migrating BMP's from across our vertically integrated International company. This includes but not limited to protocols for Corporate and company goals and objectives. Its interesting to see how our industry has evolved each decade and how some very skilled leaders have fallen by the wayside....Willy Loman-style....you could hear the anchors being slowly dropped when we were given specific goals, precepts to build a stronger future yet a few just would not change!

If I could offer this Sava:Two books I thoroughly enjoyed and contributed to my success, one by Jim Collins..Good to Great and another actually a paperback...One Minute Manager by Dr Kenneth Blanchard and Spencer Johnson....

I hope all goes well! Accountability and progress not perfection in bringing your company online. Realistic goals and some not so realistic...all are obtainable when viewed that success is gauged many ways, all moving forward! Looking forward to hearing how you fare Sava!

                            • Thank you for your advice. All of you. So many of you have many years of experience in various industries and levels.

I'm playing catch up. I need a crash course. I need many crash courses. I need to hear every opinion and hard truth.

Ultimately, I know what currently exists in reality and am getting a better for what is realistic with every bit of advice I receive. I need help navigating reality as it happens.

There are facts. I have assets, outside investors, and existing revenue. These numbers put me in certain categories and qualifications.
