Of course, if the Pubbies get decimated they could do something out of spite, but that's going to get them 20 years in the wilderness.
If there was political gain to doing it, they'd have done it already.

The repugnant party is all hysteria and illogic. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. All the falsehoods about Clinton's health are hilarious.
One after another.
They forget this is the same lady who sat through 11 hours of "hearings" not too long ago and only did one yawn throughout the entire thing.
Several right-wing web sites circulated a months-old photograph of Hillary Clinton slipping on some stairs as the 'latest evidence' that she is in poor health.
Right wing nutters are endlessly going on about her health. Even how she can't go up stairs without assistance... even though there are dozens of recent pictures of here doing so with no help.
And of course the 11 hour hearing where she barely flinched.
BTW, LATimes poll has nearly a margin of error of 5%. I don't even get why they even do a poll with a margin of error like that.
Oh and Trump potentially lost some of his own supporters with his flipflop:
The immigration stance Donald Trump put out this week sounds a lot like Obama’s, which makes it the exact opposite of the candidate’s prior position
And he's unlikely to gain new supporters to make up for that because many of the people he pissed off aren't going to be quick to forget his nastiness. He pretty much screwed up himself with his own base. I'm starting to think he's doing this intentionally to help Hillary win. I never seen anyone this awful at campaigning before. He refuses to fund republican candidates in the Congress or even help them. He isn't building any sort of ground crew for voter mobilization and only released a tepid television advertisement recently.
And it's proven. He's transferred very little money raised into field operations. Hillary has spent a great deal of money raised into voter registration and mobilization (that is why democrats continue to outstrip republicans in registration). And republicans are so worried about losing republican states they are forced to spend money in those states, leaving themselves stretched thin. If they need to spend money in Georgia, Arizona, Missouri and even Texas you know they have problems.
I still believe Trump is transferring campaign money into his businesses. That should be illegal, but it's not.Last edited by Giancarlo; August 27, 2016, 13:35.For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. It wouldn't surprise me if she had health issues, she's approaching 70 and there's been plenty of talk over the years. With the standards of medical care Presidents recieve however, I doubt it'd be a major problem, and she's certainly better than the alternative, no matter what state his health is in.

Lulz:
The latest news and headlines from Yahoo! News. Get breaking news stories and in-depth coverage with videos and photos.
This never seems to end. The troll is being trolled by the media now.
Endless entertainment. Trump's doctor wrote that health note in 5 minutes lol.
Edit:
And more controversy...
It’s a day ending in “y”, and so it is that Donald Trump has sparked another firestorm of criticism this morning, and in doing so landed himself the honor of being called “a POS” (piece of sh**) by House of Lies star Don Cheadle. The cause: a tweet politicizing the tragic death of 32-year-old Nykea Aldridge, cousin of NBA star Dwyane Wade, who was shot and killed Friday night in Chicago. Offering no condolences, Trump used the occasion of her murder for a tone-deaf…
I am sure Dwyane Wade would sock him for that comment. Drumpf is a sick, sick man!Last edited by Giancarlo; August 27, 2016, 19:36.For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. Are you mad about Trump being the nominee and where do you direct that ire?
Hillary 454-84.
Trump is a terrible candidate. Now that he's done the inevitable 'pivot', he's undermined the only demographic that did support him.Last edited by Ben Kenobi; August 27, 2016, 22:06.Scouse Git (2) La Fayette Adam Smith Solomwi and Loinburger will not be forgotten.

The pivot was done too late and in a very stupid way and many Latinos are like "we don't believe you". Same thing with African Americans, especially with that comment about what happened in Chicago...
The idiot continues to stick his own foot into his mouth.
Trump's big problem again is a total lack of investment in field operations. He just doesn't seem to care. His campaign reshuffle saw an anti-semite bigot and crazy lady join him.For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. They are serious about fluffing Trump's ego and believe their views are self evidently correct and true enough to sway voters they absolutely need to win.
Trump saw the salary of President a few weeks ago and is no longer interested. It just doesn't pay enough and he can't be the control freak ego maniac he is of his companies. He can't run all his businesses while being President. That will inevitably create conflict of interest and I don't think is even legal.
Sway voters apparently aren't biting either. Look at his numbers in key swing states. It's so bad the RNC is being forced to spend money in REPUBLICAN states to DEFEND REPUBLICANS from unusually strong democratic challengers. For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night.
