That is soft censorship by the government where they pressure companies via informal channels and then get the companies to do the actual dirty work for them.

Whither it was bots or people that are censoring the content doesn't matter. That a head of state got caught pressuring companies to change their policies and censor information for political reasons does bother me.

Oh, and two British victims have come forward talking about how muslim gangs sexually assaulted them including tearing off all of the clothes from her body and then "forcibly penitrating her". This was in Paris on NYE so this raises the number to 10 different cities where such attacks occurred. I call that a systematic problem and not isolated incidences.

Yes, men rape women in party-like circumstances. What are the figures for rapes by non-Muslims on the same occasions? I know we see a fair few in Australia in such circumstances - NYE and the like.

I know that Merkel talked to Zuckerberg (September last year, so way before the attacks) about Facebooks policy of leaving racist comments uncensored (which is/was extreme, as I mentioned some postings above, regarding #nippelstatthetze ) but I never heard anything about her pressuring Zuckerberg into removing anything that could shed a bad light on immigrants

Facebook has a problem with racism, not the opposite.

I know there was lots of success in completely shutting down racist speech sites here.

It's sad that facebook has to rely on racism to increase ad sales.

Americans always need an enemy. They want a war machine going for obvious gains for their war industries and of course to act as a joining force in a very disjointed country with no connecting tiisue that is tearing itself apart with racial divisions.

If they don't have one, they make one.

Luckily, Europe is not blessed with being an ocean away from the real world, so it will, inevitably adopt a very different strategy than "bomb" destabilize" go away hide in the tree house and throw racist insults.
