Maybe now you will learn. Even people as slow as you guys are capable of learning, right?
You can't do that if you are in Turkish space for just 17 seconds (and that is according to Turkish own data, according to ours - the Russian plane have never crossed the border).
      You are f*cking idiot, really!

      • They just decided enough warning and any violators get shot down. That is the way it is, especially if the violator has been bombing ethnic Turkmen. You can either understand this or keep getting planes shot down and no amount of chest thumping will change that fact. Whine all you want.

It was part of a systematic series of violations of Turkish Airspace by Russia after they had been warned repeatedly over previous incidents. Even in this incident the Pilot was warned repeatedly not to enter Turkish airspace and ignored the warnings. Not exactly sure how that "rings hollow" on the Turkish side.
And how many Turkish planes were shot down by Greece, exactly? Daamn here goes your "argument".

In reality, Soviet and NATO planes were flying into each other's airspace all the time, testing radar coverage and responce of another military block. Exactly ZERO of them were shot down during entire cold war, common response was to escort a military plane out with fighter jets. There were only two exceptions - U-2 and Korean Air Lines Flight 007, both of which were deep penetrations, not just a shallow testing of an airspace.

So, Turkish responce was worse than it was during entire cold war. That means what, it's a hot war now?

Does that mean Russia is now more idiotic than it was during the bad, old days of the USSR? Turkey had been complaining for awhile even going to the lengths of shooting down a Russian drone to drive home the point that they didn't want Russia in their airspace. I guess this was Erdoğan's way of saying, "Can you hear me now?" after his complaints were ignored.

              • Turkey is sending up to 100,000 additional troops and heavy equipment to the southern Turkish border. The US has requested they better control the borders between Turkey and both Syria and Iraq while Erdogan seems to want to send a message that he can militarily influence events when ever he please.

The Turkish Army has 1 million men in uniform and while their equipment is not always the best of the best it is quite good and they have a lot of it. For instance, their old M60 tanks were all upgraded by Israel with reactive armor, automated firing systems, new engines and transmissions, new treds, and a really nice new main gun. Not exactly an M1tank but damn good for the money and they have lots and lots of them. Their artillery is also especially numerous.

                • Wiki says:

                  397 Leopard 1
                  354 Leopard 2
                  1,646 M60
                  1,377 M48

                  Just for the tanks.

Clearly, Turkey can do whatever it wants in Syria and a couple dozen Russian jets and an S-400 can't do much to stop them.

If Turkey wanted war in Syria, they would have it and not much Russia could do to stop them. It seems obvious that Russia should both respect their request about their airspace and pay heed to what Turkey is saying about bombing Turkmen civilians.

                      • At this time all Turkish M60A3 tanks have been upgraded by Israeli companies to Sabra tanks. It is an upgrade of an old design but it is a much more capable design and they have plenty of them. It was a way for the Turks to get a lot of bang for their buck. The 120mm smooth bore gun and reactive armor along with the automated targeting and fire systems really improved those tanks fire power as well as survivability. They also have a lot of (older but upgraded) APCs, arty, and armored jeep like vehicles. It would cost them but if Vladimir wants to push them then they could take Syria just by shear numbers.

                        • the only thing I got to say about all this. what a bunch of puzzy's the Russians are.

I mean, they either can't take on NATO, or are afraid too. I guess if it's the first reason than both apply. Putin should have done more... anything more. respect for NATO... at least putin has that.

Russia should setup a no fly zone all over where they are doing whatever. Obama would back down. That's an easy call.

Wut? Why would Russia of all countries will want to put a no fly zone in Syria? So to stop NATO from bombing ISIS? Come on, think a tiiiiiiny little bit before posting.

Again, why should we want to have a war with NATO? You're the one being stupid here. And there. And everywhere. Well, you're from USA so i guess it's your natural state of mind.
