If it didn't (which I'm sure that's the case) the next plane to go down will be most probably turkish or allied flying in ukriane/baltics or baltic (assuming they have an airforce)

Putin just waits to clarify that delicate piece of info
I highly doubt an SU-24 will take down a NATO F-16 unless it is one hell of a lucky shot.

It's kinda sad that Turkey, a NATO member, decides to side with ISIS just because they lose a little bit of a cheap oil that was sold to them by ISIS. But it's not like it's a first time a war has started because of economic interests. That's, like, THE most common reason to start a war.

Of course it had nothing to do with Turkey repeatedly warning Russia about violating its airspace and Russia ignoring them. It was all about ISIS giving Turkey Oil.

Turkey has no problem repeatedly violating Greek airspace.

Yeah, look at their "explanation". A plane alledgedly crossed a one kilometer patch of empty Turkish land with nothing there, not even a small village. And it takes like FOUR SECONDS to cross it, how can they give TEN ****ING WARNINGS? It's obvious ****ing lie. They did it not to defend themselves, but to shoot down our plane out of spite, with a retarded excuse. Who in the sane mind will buy their "explanation"?

Just look at this. Korean Air Lines Flight 007 crossed entire Kamchatka Penisula, entire Sea of Okhotsk, and Sakhalin island. That's like 1500 kilometers in USSR territory, and over our biggest city in the region. Only after that it was shot down. And entire West went nuts over it anyway.

Russian plane alledgedly crossed one kilometer wide patch of Turkish land, and was shot over Syrian land. You can't even damn shoot it over Turkish land, it's that small - even if you launch a missile, a plane will just fly away in time a missile will catch it.

                That's obvious bull****.

Are you seriously going to compare the shooting down of a jet fighter to the downing of a civilian airliner?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Let's see. Civilian airliner can be used for air reconnaissance deep within Soviet territory and near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy, right? I mean, it's not like you can't send an empty one with recon equipment rigged in...

On the other hand, jet bomber (not fighter) obviously didn't plan to bomb Turkey. And there is nothing to scout 1 km within the border by a bomber that can not be scouted by a proper recon plane outside of the border (even if a plane crossed a border for several seconds, which may not be true).

So yeah, if you logically think about it, Korean Air Lines Flight 007 had some threat to a USSR security, while Su-24M didn't have any threat to Turkey security at all.

Oh no, what if they took a picture of the Kamchatka peninsula? I'm sure there's so much going on there
