I guess this was Erdoğan's way of saying, "Can you hear me now?" after his complaints were ignored.
Just turn off your ****** mode for a moment and read your own (western) news site, Guardian:

Moscow may have been foolish to let its planes stray so close to the border – doubly so if its rules of engagement allowed pilots to dip into Turkish airspace when it was operationally useful (as is likely). But Turkey’s response went way beyond the usual practice.
Come on, trolling is fine, but when you go beyond unreasonable, it's not even fun to read anymore. And in this thread you definitely do.

Greece complained about hundreds of incidents with Turkish warplanes each month. Turkey put a trap to shoot down a plane, and it's not even clear if it really crossed a border with Turkey yet. Even your own press confirms that it was beyond reasonable to do what Turkey did. Yet you put a ****** mode at 200% and deny it anyway. Come on, guys, it's not even trolling, it's "retarding".

    • It has been noted that since Turkey shot down that plane, Russia has been pounding the crap out of that area. So that worked out well.

Well, total armed forces including reserves. They still have manditory draft but it seems many of those people get out of military service by doing alternative national service on the civilian side.

            • Remember when they remade Red Dawn and had to use North Korea because Russia was no longer a credible threat.

              • Russia is ramping up the bombing of Turkmen civilians which just might provoke Turkey into another response.

                • Russia has expanded its military operations in Syria to include a second airbase as well as other posts, according to a U.S. official briefed on the latest intelligence from the region – even as President Obama expresses muted optimism that Russian President Vladimir Putin eventually will “shift” his strategy and work with the West.

As predicted, Russia is getting sucked in deeper.

                  • Guess who's trading oil with Daesh? Turkish poll.

This one was an epic fail.

                      • Well, if one asks about the Daesh links of Erdogan (which may exist ... turkey surely does profit from oil smuggle by Daesh) one should, at the same time however, also ask about the oil links from Daesh to Assad

The regime of Syria's Bashar al-Assad is buying oil from Daesh to fulfill its energy needs as the war approaches its fifth anniversary, according to...

                        • Then again, Assad is actually fighting Daesh so it looks improbable. However, a Turkey, a "democracy" and a member of NATO, trading with number one terrorists in the world... More so, the president himself is trading, family business and all that.

Also, that closes the question who exactly arms Daesh - it's NATO. If oil goes one way, then surely weapons go another way. Given that USA and NATO has a long history of arming would-be-number-one-terrorists (number one after you armed and financed them), it's basically a given.

                            ...
Which is something that still would have to be proven ... as the article says, germany is lacking any indication of real trading links between turkey and Daesh or even Erdogan himself being involved in such a thing (although I would guess that turkey still is turning a blind eye on the oil, humans and materials smuggle across the border (like they already did before the terrorist attack) ... but that is just my personal opinion).

Perhaps it would be more convincing if russia came up with proofs

                              • there's clear evidence of turkish co-operation with the islamic state.

there's a fully sourced report here, from last year. and evidence has been piling up since then.
