Actually, you can't "steal" a territory from people by normal means (something short of a mass genocide). Exactly the same people will still live there as before, like it's in Crimea. Actually, they'll live better, like in Crimea. So the only ones at a loss will be a corrupt Kiev regime. And Kiev government failed it's work for the last 24 years.
