Partition and population transfer would result in lasting peace though because everyone would be on their own side of the border.

Uh, last I checked, they declared war on Israel. And lost.

Just when I'm trying to maintain a good rage against you, I have to read Oerdin posts.

You aren't the worst pathetic bag of **** on this forum.

              • I think the reason Mobius was laughing is because the massacres were directly related to the partition process. There were no massacres before partition, but as Hindu populations within Pakistani territory and Muslim populations within India were uprooted in order to relocate them the massacres occurred. It should be noted that the majority of Muslims in India stayed put and for the past 60+ years have lived peaceably with their Hindu neighbors as they had for centuries before partition. There have been conficts in Kashmir, largely instigated by Pakistan, and terracts in India, usually conducted by Pakistanis. There have even been a few anti-Muslim riots in India, generally occurring in responce to Pakistani terracts.

                • India and Pakistan should stop messing about so they can focus on important things... like raping their women... and in Pakistan's case, stoning them to death afterwards.

Hrm, It couldn't have anything to do with Mughalistan when they ruled India? As for 'peaceable', have you forgotten the bombings in Bombay? India's had more than 200 people killed just in 2012 from Islamic terrorism. Sure, it's better than Pakistan, but that's not saying much.

Personally, I blame the spell checker.

No, it was for "sub-content" instead of "Sub continent". It was a particularly bad misspelling.

Anyway 2012 was a quiet year in India. Are you sure you weren't thinking about 2008?

Even a quiet year was 200+, which isn't a small number. Nor is it confined to just Kashmir.

                              I'm thinking of *this*.

                              • November 26 was the month and date, "11" was the month not the year, the article refers to the 2008 attack:
The physical damage of the attack, that began on the night of November 26, 2008, has long since been swept away. The bullet holes are plastered over – apart from where they have been kept as a tourist gimmick – and the five star hotels were quick to replace the shattered glass and throw open their doors again.
The attacks were carried out by Lashkar-e-Taiba, a Pakistani organization
