Bad coattails - for Romney. Romney massively depressed turnout. They picked up Senate seats in an election they were expected to lose quite a few - and picked up one in North Dakota.The Dems got 2 Senate pickups and 8 House pickups in an election that their Presidential nominee won big - that's really bad coattails
