    You've already been proven wrong.

Accept it. Or continue to embarrass yourself for my amusement. It makes no difference to me.

Christ. Obama might actually have an arguable leg to stand on cutting Congress out of the process in this instance due to being CnC but simply denying it didn't happen is delusional.

So that's the horse you are going to back?

THIS RESCUE PLAN IS TOTALLYA DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER ONE

        Pathetic.

The facts have been reported. Everyone can decide for themselves who is delusional.

Though, some have demonstrated more skill at this than others.

Playing whack a mole with idiotic Bergdahl truthers on CNN is really fun.

Gosh, even Fox News thinks the Bergdahl truthers are wrong.

Top congressional leaders were briefed more than two years ago about the possible exchange of five Guantanamo prisoners for American soldier Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, but raised "serious" concerns from the outset about the risks of such a trade, officials say.

House Speaker John Boehner and others provided new details Tuesday about the prior deliberations, and voiced grave concern that the administration charged ahead with the prisoner swap over the weekend without Congress' approval.

Yall better jump off that sinking ship

I really don't think that prisoner exchange ought to be subject to Congressional review.

It wasn't a prisoner exchange according to the latest WH explanation. It was a hostage negotiation. Regardless though, he's the one that signed the requirement into law.

Constitutionally it is not as the President is the Commander in Chief and if it ever came to it even our right wing Supreme Court would reaffirm the President's free hand in such military affairs.

Even if his guilt as a deserter is proven after he gets court martialed, what is wrong with having gotten him released so that we can get him court martialed?

It reminds me how McCain spent a year whining about how the US hadn't attacked Libya and then the second Obama actually did what McCain said he wanted McCain flipped a 180 and cried about the intervention in Libya being the worst thing ever. The man has no shame nor does his party.

Let's use a historical example for the historian. Do you think the Allies in WWII would have returned Rudolf Hess to the Nazis for any soldier?

Congress has the power to make rules regarding captures during war time

Do think maybe when he said he supported an exchange, he meant one not quite as lopsided as this?
No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.

Yes, as he specifically mentioned "five taliban" in exchange for the American. I mean the man specifically even said it. McCain really is a two faced piece of ****.
